CHRISTIANS HAVE SOMETHING TO REJOICE !”
The Christian has something to rejoice about. This means to be joyful about, or to be delighted with. “We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.”(Psa. 20:5)We have a great Savior, who demonstrated great love for lost man.His interest in us ought to fill our hearts with joy.God’s willingness to save us and rescue from sin is the best thing in the whole wide world.

Many rejoice in the wrong thing. They rejoice over doing harm to another, and cheating a brother. Not realizing that they shall reap what they have sown.Others rejoice over sinful pleasure, and evil desires. The christian rejoices in God’s word.Listen to David, “I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure. (Psa. 119:162)For the word is more valuable than anything this world has to offer. For when heaven and earth passes away, the word endures, and abides forever.

we go down into the watery grave of baptism, we enter a new relationship with God.The Bible tells us that after his baptism, the Eunuch went onhis way rejoicing. (Acts 8:39) Baptism puts us into Christ where our souls are protected, and safeguarded. This caused Paul to write, “Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.”(Phil. 3:1)The things that you most value in this world might lead to disappointed if God is not in the picture. When He is praised, then help is on the way.

is very important in our walk with God.It bears repeating. “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!”(Phil. 4:4)For He is there to guide us through the many trials, and tribulations we experience. It might seem to be irrelevant but be assured that rejoicing in God, and His word brings great joy, and happiness.Try it, and you will discover the truthfulness of God’s word.Remember that Christians do notrejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. (1 Cor. 13:6)
